What we do
SoSimple supplies clean, affordable electricity to African businesses. We install solar panels on their rooftops, fully financed and maintained by us. Our clients pay nothing upfront and only pay for the electricity they use, at a lower rate than the local municipal rate.
We offer 10-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with fixed tariffs and no hidden fees. To ensure energy security, we integrate battery storage and diesel generators where needed.
Since 2019, we’ve focused on SMEs and larger corporate customers like Shoprite Checkers group throughout Africa. Our Johannesburg-based team continues to grow. By 2025, SoSimple has delivered over 75 of operational systems, with many more in development across key sectors like agriculture, hospitality, and manufacturing.
